PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize two juxtaposed shock absorbers.SOLUTION: This shock absorber D includes: a cylinder 1; a rod 2 movably inserted into the cylinder 1; a hollow rod 3 movably inserted into the cylinder 1 and also movably mounted on the periphery of the rod 2; a piston 4 arranged around the periphery of the rod 2 or hollow rod 3, slidably inserted into the cylinder 1, and partitioning the inside of the cylinder 1 into a rod chamber R1 and a piston chamber R2; and an outer cylinder 6 longer than the cylinder 1, covering the periphery of the cylinder 1, and forming an annular clearance 5 between the cylinder 1 and the outer cylinder. A reservoir R is formed by the annular clearance 5 and a space 10 composed of the outer cylinder 6, a rod guide 7, an annular member 8 on the side of the rod chamber, and a cylindrical member 9. |
