PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which enhances a riding quality during the normal travel without impairing run-flat durability.SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire having a side reinforcing layer, the rubber composition constituting the side reinforcing layer contains fibers in which a dynamic elastic modulus (E') with the dynamic strain of 1% and at 25°C is ≤10 MPa in the vulcanized rubber physical properties, and a cord constituting a carcass layer satisfies inequalities (I) and (II). Inequality (I) σ≥-0.01×E+1.2, and inequality (II) σ≥0.02, where σ denotes a heat-shrinkage stress (cN/dtex) at 177°C, and E denotes the elastic modulus (cN/dtex) under the load of 49 N at 25°C, respectively. |
