PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein an FFS panel increases disturbance of liquid crystal alignment due to the influence of a lateral electric field of adjacent pixels, as gradual narrowing among pixels takes place by accompanying high definition.SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal device, the width of a slit-like opening SL2 positioned at the outermost side out of a plurality of the slit-like openings provided on the region of a pixel electrode 11 is set narrower than that of another slit-like openings SL1. According to this constitution, an electric field generated between a common electrode 131 and the pixel electrode 11 suppresses influence exerted for alignment control of liquid crystal molecules in adjacent pixels G, by narrowing the width of the slit-like opening SL2 provided at a position closest to the adjacent pixel electrode 11. |
