PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging system capable of performing MF control by little operation when photography is performed by performing remote control of an imaging apparatus from an external device.SOLUTION: When the photography is performed by performing remote control of the imaging apparatus 100 from the external device 200, a focusing range is computed by distance information to a subject which is received from the imaging apparatus to be displayed on an indicator. A focus step amount, which is a step amount for focus adjustment, is further computed by lens characteristics received from the imaging apparatus. Then, when focus movement is specified, a movement step of a focus adjustment button is automatically switched by referring to the focus step amount. |
