PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction tool for a vacuum cleaner which has inexpensive configuration and facilitates cleaning under furniture.SOLUTION: The suction tool for a vacuum cleaner includes: an oblong nozzle portion 11 having a suction port 11a in the lower surface thereof; a flat extension pipe portion 12; a first connecting portion 14, one end of which is removably connected to the downstream end of the extension pipe portion 12, the other end being connected to the end of a hose 13 connected to a vacuum cleaner body (not shown); and a second connecting portion 15, one end of which is connected to the central part of the nozzle portion 11, the other end being connected to the extension pipe portion 12, at least the midway part being freely bendable. While the first connecting part 14 removed, the total height of the suction tool is 25 mm or less when the extension pipe portion 12 is placed on the floor. Thus, the total height is 25 mm or less when the extension pipe portion 12 is placed on the floor, so that the suction tool 10 for the vacuum cleaner can be easily inserted under a piece of furniture 18 such as a sofa having a small distance between the furniture and the floor surface, besides the oblong suction port 11a for sucking dust is formed in the lower surface, so that the floor surface under the piece of furniture 18 can be surely cleaned. |
