PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to induce an immune tolerance.SOLUTION: A method to induce an immune tolerance by an administration of an immunosuppressant and a compound shown by formula I is disclosed. In addition, a method to inhibit an immune response by the administration of the immunosuppressant and the compound shown by formula I is disclosed. Additionally, a method for treatment of an autoimmune disease by the administration of the immunosuppressant and the compound shown by formula I is disclosed. Furthermore, a method for prevention, inhibition or suppression of rejection to a transplanted organ, and the method for treatment of the autoimmune disease are disclosed. Still furthermore, a method to induce a specific immune tolerance to the transplanted organ without causing loss of a non-specific immunity by a combination therapy of administration of rapamycin below a therapeutic dose together with the compound shown by formula I to a heart transplanted mouse is disclosed. |
