摘要 The invention relates to a method for producing polymer structural materials, in particular to a method for producing monolithic materials based on cross-linked polyurethane isocyanurates. The invention can be used most effectively in the production of articles having a gradual transition from soft or hard rubber to hard plastic and having elastic properties at any modulus value in a temperature range from -50 to +120°C. The aim of the invention is to develop a more workable and efficient method for producing a polymer material based on cross-linked polyurethane isocyanurates. This is achieved by reacting, while heating, an aromatic diisocyanate with a low molecular weight, flexible-chain polymer with terminal hydroxyl groups in the presence of an amine curing agent in combination with a co-catalyst by keeping the temperature of the reaction composition at 50-60°C for a period of 8-10 hours and then heating said composition in stages from 80 to 160°C. The claimed method is superior to the prototype because it is more workable, efficient and environmentally safe and makes it possible successfully to produce gradient, polyurethane isocyanurate-based polymer materials on a commercial scale.
