The cleaner (1) has a accordion-type folded filter medium (2) i.e. filter paper, and a foam material plate (5) that rests upon a laminar part of an unfiltered air-lateral folding edge (3) and a filtered-air-lateral folding edge (4) of the filter medium. The plate includes two foam material layers (5a, 5b) with different porosity. The plate projects over an edge (6) of the folded filter medium for sealing of the cleaner. The plate is formed as rectangular frame to cover the folding edges along the edge of the filter medium.
