Methods for generating high-pressure vapour and dissolving smoke particles therein have been proposed as methods for removing smoke particles, but such methods suffer from the problems of high costs and increased device size due to the need for: a high-temperature, high-pressure vapour generation device; a spray for a reaction adjunct (such as water); a reduced pressure separation chamber for cooling; a cooling device for high speed cooling; and the like. Disclosed is a smoke particle removal device wherein a water vapour-containing smoke is formed by mixing smoke, which is sucked from a combustion furnace into a smoke guide, and water vapour, which is ejected by a water vapour ejection means, a thin aqueous film layer is formed, by temperature reduction, onto the surface of the smoke particles contained in the water vapour-containing smoke, the water vapour-containing smoke is sucked into a smoke intake opening in a smoke cleaning tank, and the water vapour-containing smoke is passed through water that is stored inside the smoke cleaning tank so that the smoke particles, with a thin aqueous film coating the surfaces thereof, are incorporated into the water, thus removing the smoke particles contained in the smoke.
|
