PURPOSE: A method for breeding novel variety of radish, Bordaux by hybridizing Raphanus sativus cv. Chungpihongsim which is a paternal line and Oharu which is a maternal line is provided to ensure antioxidation and anti-cholesterol activity. CONSTITUTION: A novel variety of radish, Bordaux is obtained by hybridizing Raphanus sativus cv. Chungpihongsim which is a paternal line and Oharu which is a maternal line. Bordaux has anthocyanin pigment inside a peel. A method for breeding Bordaux comprises: a step of seeding Oharu; a step of seeding Chungpihongsim; a step of artificially or naturally hybridizing Oharu and Chungpihongsim; and a step of collecting seed from the hybridized individual.
