PURPOSE: A novel chromen compound is provided to preferentially bind to D3 dopamine receptor. CONSTITUTION: A novel chromen compound is denoted by chemical formula I. A method for preparing the chromen compound comprises: a step of performing reductive amination of a compound of chemical formula II with a compound of chemical formula III under the presence of reductant to obtain a compound of chemical formula IV; and a step of deprotecting the amine functional group under the presence of trifluoroacetic acid to obtain a compound of chemical formula I/a. A pharmaceutical composition contains the compound of chemical formula I or one or more inactive, non-toxic and pharmaceutically acceptable excipient or carrier.
