FIELD: metallurgy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to titanium alloys resisting high-temperature oxidation and to engine exhaust pipes made thereof. Titanium alloy comprises 0.15-2% by wt of Si and less than 0.30% by wt of Al. Alloy may have equiaxial structure with grain size of 15 mcm or greater, or needlelike structure. Alloy resistance to high-temperature oxidation at over 800 C can be notably increased by addition of at least one element selected from Nb, Mo and Cr.
