PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling a hybrid vehicle, capable of suppressing the frequency of starting and stopping an engine while improving efficiency of fuel use.SOLUTION: The device for controlling the hybrid vehicle whose driving system includes an engine Eng and a motor (motor/generator MG) as a drive source and driving wheels (right and left rear wheels RT and LT) includes: a battery (9); a drive control means (14) for controlling the driving system according to the change of a request driving force; and an information acquisition means (23, etc.) for acquiring own vehicle information and road environment information.
