PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting apparatus which facilitates attachment of a cutting blade, and has high durability and achieves stable high quality cutting even when a cutting object is a soft material or thin material.SOLUTION: The cutting apparatus includes the cutting blade 18 such as a Thompson blade; and a cutting drive device 50. The cutting apparatus further includes a holding member 20 for positioning the cutting blade 18; a fixing member 30 which is disposed opposite to a side surface formed in the holding member 20, and holds the cutting blade 18 therebetween; set screws 32a and 32b for fixing the cutting blade 18 by pressing the fixing member 30 against the side surface of the holding member 20; and a blade receiving portion 24 against which the cutting edge 18a of the cutting blade 18 abuts. The blade receiving portion 24 is made up of an elastic rubber body 44, and a metal receiving member 46 disposed on the surface of the elastic rubber body 44. |
