摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently remove burr adhering to a cast slab and efficiently perform gas-cutting of the cast slab.SOLUTION: Combustion gas containing vaporized flux and oxygen are blown to the cast slab with thickness of 5-400 mm and temperature of ≤100°C from a gas cutting torch 10. The combustion gas containing the vaporized flux is blown to the cast slab with pressure of 0.02-0.11 MPa. The oxygen is blown to the cast slab with pressure of 0.3-1.0 MPa. When the thickness of the cast slab is 5-50 mm, the cutting speed of the gas cutting torch 10 is 300-600 mm/min in the width direction of the cast slab. When the thickness of the cast slab is >50 mm, the cutting speed of the gas cutting torch 10 is 100-300 mm/min in the width direction of the cast slab. The vaporized flux contains elements for improving cutting performance such as P, Si, K, Na, B, and halogen group elements.
