Table with variable configuration comprising at least a frame (11) to support a main top (13), and a movement unit (12) associated with the frame (11) to move the main top (13) from a lowered position to a raised position and vice versa. The movement unit (12) comprises a first mechanism (18) and a second mechanism (19) wherein the first mechanism (18) is connected to the main top (13) in order to selectively raise or lower the main top (13). The second mechanism (19) is connected to a service top (14), substantially parallel to the main top (13), in order to move the service top (14) normally below the main top (13) in the lowered position and substantially adjacent to the main top (13) in the raised position. The table comprises stop means (30) suitable to cooperate with the main top (13) and/or with the service top (14) so as to prevent the complete closure of the main top (13) and of the service top (14) in their lowered position, in the event of an accidental or unwanted movement thereof from the raised position to the lowered position. |
