The present invention discloses a method of treating a cardiovascular disease or condition comprising administering therapeutically effective amounts of certain triazolopyrimidinones as Fatty Acid Binding Protein ("FABP") inhibitors. Examples of such disease or condition include metabolic disorder, obesity or an obesity-related disorder, diabetes, dyslipidemia, a diabetic complication, impaired glucose tolerance or impaired fasting glucose.
