PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a catalyst composition which reduces adhesion and sheeting to a sufficient level for activating a continuous process, especially a commercial or large-scale process, without a problem and has a more stabilized catalyst productivity, a reduced adhesion/sheeting tendency, and a continuously operating polymerization process in a longer operation term; a method for producing the composition; and a method for using the composition in the polymerization of olefin monomers.SOLUTION: The catalyst composition comprises a catalyst compound, an activator capable of converting the catalyst compound into an active catalyst for addition polymerization, optionally a carrier, further optionally a liquid diluent, and a hydroxycarboxylate metal salt additive. |
