PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that enhances abrasion resistance while retaining low-temperature resistance even when a filler is added thereto, and to provide an insulated electric wire comprising the same as a covering material.SOLUTION: In the resin composition comprising at least one polyolefin resin and a filler, at least one polyolefin resin is graft-modified with a compound having a functional group, and the amount of the introduced functional group is at least 0.5 mass%. The graft-modified polyolefin resin is preferably polypropylene, especially preferably homopolypropylene. The insulated electric wire is constituted by covering the outer periphery of a conductor with the resin composition. |
