PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring only a target character without causing side effects by introducing a transcription controlling factor of a variant Myb.SOLUTION: The variant Myb-related gene contains a specific base sequence in a code region, and is obtained by introducing silent mutation into the base sequence so that an miRNA targeting the Myb-related gene the product of which is participated in the growth of the plant cannot inhibit the expression of the gene.
