PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data transmission system capable of sending video data in the state, where image quality deterioration, a time-lag and the like are reduced, in inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A transmitting side 1 includes an imaging means 2 and a first media converter 3 for converting video data and audio data from the imaging means 2 into IP signals and the imaging means 2 and the first media converter 3 are connected by an IEEE1,394 cable 5. A receiving side includes a second media converter 8 for converting received IP signals into video data and audio data, a display part 9 for displaying converted video data and an audio output part 10 for outputting converted audio data are connected to an output side of the second media converter 8 via a personal computer 11, and the second media converter 8 and the personal computer 11 are connected by an IEEE1,394 cable 12. |
