PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door catching detector capable of enhancing the detection accuracy of a door catching state.SOLUTION: The door catching detector for detecting whether or not a vehicle door is in a caught state when the door is closed, includes a first door tip elastic part provided on a door tip on an interior side of the vehicle door and constituted of an elastically deformable material, a second door tip elastic part provided on a door tip on an exterior side of the vehicle door and constituted of an elastically deformable material, a reference hollow part which is provided inside the first or second door tip elastic part, and not elastically deformed during a door catching state, a detection hollow part which is provided inside the second door tip elastic part, and elastically deformed during a door catching state, a reference pressure measuring part for measuring the air pressure in the reference hollow part, a detection pressure measuring part for measuring the air pressure in the detection hollow part, and a door catching detection part for detecting whether or not the door is in a caught state based on the differential pressure between the reference pressure measured by the reference pressure measuring part and the detection pressure measured by the detection hollow part. |
