PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin solution for printing ink varnish capable of obtaining a lithographic printing ink which exhibits excellent printability even on high-speed printing and is hard to cause attachment of ink to a roller, filling up of ink to a water rod, misting, scumming and the like.SOLUTION: The resin solution for printing ink varnish includes a rosin modified phenolic resin obtained by reacting an oil modified cyclopentadiene resin (A) obtained by reacting a cyclopentadiene compound (a1) with an drying oil and/a semidrying oil (a2) at a weight ratio of (a1) to (a2) of 100:5-50, a rosin ester resin (B), and a phenolic resin (C). |
