<p>Various contents are made to be viewable via femtocell access points, irrespective of the performance of mobile terminals. A gateway device is provided with: a control-signal converting unit that accepts message requests for streams or files from mobile terminals, via femtocell access points, and transfers the message requests to the targets of the requests after implementing the necessary conversions thereto; a performance table that has performance information of various mobile terminals stored; a packet receiving unit that receives streams or files from the aforementioned targets of the requests; a conversion instructing unit that determines the content to be converted that is in accordance with the performance information of the mobile terminal that is the requesting source, by referring to the aforementioned performance table; a converting unit that executes a conversion of the stream or the aforementioned file received from the aforementioned requesting source, according to the aforementioned content to be converted; and a packet transmission unit that transmits the aforementioned converted stream or file, to the aforementioned mobile terminal.</p> |
