The unit has a center piston (9) i.e. anchor piston, that is partially formed from material that forms a permanent magnet or a magnetic circuit. A cylinder attached to the piston is formed from a magnetically conductive and magnetically non-conductive material. A magnetic field surrounding the piston is induced in a laminated core (11) carrying a winding or in a ferrite core by linear and alternate relative motion of the piston opposite to the cylinder. Secondary windings additionally provided on the laminated core generate alternating voltage according to transformer principle. |
