PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for streamlining multilingual processing of a document.SOLUTION: A document processing device includes: an identification processing means which obtains structured original text layout data, rewrites a character string expressed as a sentence in the original printed matter into description for each translation unit, adds an identifier for identifying each translation unit, and thereby creates layout data having the identifier; a means for creating data for translation which describes the sentence of the original printed matter for each translation unit based on the layout data having the identifier, and creates data for translation having the identifier corresponding to the respective translation unit; and a substituting means which obtains the data for translation text created based on the data for translation, substitutes the text character string of the original text described in the layout data having the identifier for the text character string of the translation sentence having the same identification number in the data for translation text for each translation unit, and thereby creates the layout text data of the translation printed matter. |
