PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate optical fiber wiring through a door, a sliding door, and a window, which has been difficult conventionally, with a small and inexpensive optical fiber cord.SOLUTION: In this flat optical fiber cord having a built-in optical fiber core wire, a hole assistance type optical fiber where clad diameter is 80 μm or shorter is built in the body. Each of both ends is fused and connected to an optical fiber where clad diameter is equivalent to 125 μm. The fusion connecting section is integrated with the optical fiber cord body and protected, the optical fibers on connected both ends have coating on the outside of the body, and an optical connector plug is attached to the ends. |
