PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of zoom-drive stabilization and silencing by reducing a drive load of a feeding cam mechanism attached to the lens barrel.SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes the feeding cam mechanism which allows a spherical engaging member 14, held in the holding part 11d of a lens holding frame 11, to engage with a cam groove formed in the circumferential surface of a cam ring 21, and by moving the cam ring 21, moves the lens holding frame 11 back and forth along the cam track of the cam groove, in the optical axis direction of a photographing optical system. In the lens barrel, an insertion hole 21f penetrating through the cam ring 21 is formed at one end part of the cam groove so as to insert the spherical engaging member; and when the spherical engaging member 14 is inserted into the holding part 11d through the insertion hole 21f, a locking protrusion 21g, for preventing the spherical engaging member 14 from dropping off the insertion hole 21f, is formed protrusively at the inside of the insertion hole 21f. |
