PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve such drive operation by less external control signals that rising timing and falling timing of wiring of a display panel are different.SOLUTION: Data drivers 2, 3 include latch blocks 12 latching a drive data signal Scorresponding to an image in response to the assertion of a latch enable signal LE supplied from the outside, and drive circuit parts (14, 15, 16) delaying a latch data signal Doutput from the latch block 12 in response to the latch enable signal LE, and driving data electrode wiring Wi of PDP1 in response to the latch data signal D' of an output control block 13 generating the latch data signal D'. One of rising timing and falling timing of the latch data signal D' output from the output control block 13 is decided in response to the negation of the latch enable signal LE, and the other timing is decided regardless of the negation of the latch enable signal LE. |
