PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine different conversion profiles without impairing gradations.SOLUTION: A first conversion profile which defines a conversion rule for converting an arbitrary first coordinate value in a first color space to a second coordinate value in a second color space is acquired, and a second conversion profile which defines a conversion rule for converting a specific first coordinate value in the first color space to a specific second coordinate value in the second color space is acquired, and a third conversion profile is generated by correcting the first conversion profile so that the second coordinate value resulting from converting the specific first coordinate value by the first conversion profile is equal to the specific second coordinate value resulting from converting the specific first coordinate value by the second conversion profile, and adjusts the third conversion profile so as to smooth the variation of the second coordinate value resulting from converting the first coordinate value varied near the specific first coordinate value by the third conversion profile. |
