PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an organic EL device as a front light, suppressing reflection of external light while suppressing increases in member cost and process cost.SOLUTION: In a light emitting device 1, a light emitting element 20 is arranged and light generated in a light emitting functional layer 50 is emitted through a transparent substrate 12, wherein the light emitting element is formed by laminating a first electrode 24 having transparent conductivity, the light emitting functional layer 50 at least including an EL layer 53, and a second electrode 30 formed locally and having reflective conductivity, in this order on the transparent substrate 12. A transparent layer 26 and a semi-transmissive reflection layer 28 are laminated in this order at least in a part of the face of the second electrode 30 opposite to the transparent substrate 12 side. |
