PURPOSE: A graphic processing circuit in a computer system is provided to enhance the graphic processing speed without increasing a hardware capacity by transiently storing graphic commands in a main memory, transferring the graphic commands in a register every time a capacity room remains in the register. and processing the commands in a CPU. CONSTITUTION: A graphic circuit comprises the CPU(1), a direct access memory controller (7), the register(2), the main memory(6) and a graphic processor(3). The CPU(1) generates a graphic program including the information on a start position or size corresponding to a user input condition. The direct access memory controller(7) stores the graphic program on the main memory(6) or the register(2) by controlling the output path. The graphic processor(3) receives a necessary data from the main memory(6) via a first FIFO(first input first output) memory(4), performs an operation, and stores the operated result in the main memory(6). If a user inputs an execution stop command or other command during the graphic processing, the CPU(1) generates the corresponding graphic program. In the case of on more room in the register(2), the direct memory access controller(7) stores the program in a specific area of the main memory(6).
