PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which prevents the decrease of frequency utilization efficiency when performing data acknowledgement to a plurality of communication devices.SOLUTION: The radio communication system has a plurality of terminals and a base station which transmits data to them. The base station has an acknowledgement processing section 16 which transmits an acknowledgement request that requests acknowledgement about transmission data to the terminals and specifies unreceived data as a next transmission target based on the reply, an encoder 13 which stores transmission data and encodes exclusive OR operation results between specified data to generate encoded data, and a transmission section 12 which transmits the encoded data to the plurality of transmission destination devices. The terminal stores the data transmitted from the base station, and acquires data that the terminal itself dose not normally receive based on the exclusive OR operation between the stored data and the encoded data.
