PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection device with a display means having excellent visibility and providing a clear view in front of a vehicle.SOLUTION: The target detection device incorporates a detection means detecting a target located around a vehicle, in a body 11 mounted on a room mirror, and includes a display part 13 so as to project to the outside of a side face of the body. When the target is detected by the detection means, a notification is given through the display part. The display part is constituted of a transparent liquid crystal and a transparent EL, a view in front of the vehicle, as a background of a display screen, is viewed transparently through a transparent portion of the display means. Accordingly, even if the screen size of the display part is large, the display part does not cut off the view. |
