PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectricity composite cable in which lateral pressure is hardly applied on an optical fiber.SOLUTION: Since the circumference of an optical fiber 2 is covered with a plurality of covered wires 3 and the circumferences of the plurality of covered wires 3 are covered with a sheath 4, the coating of each covered wire 3 absorbs an external force, so that lateral pressure is hardly applied on the optical fiber 2. Each covered wire 3 includes a conductor core wire 5 the circumference of which is covered with a coating 6. A flexible coating is used as the coating 6 so that the coating 6 not only electrically insulates and covers the conductor core wire 5, but also prevents the application of lateral pressure on the optical fiber 2. It is preferable that the coating 6 of each covered wire 3 is more flexible than the sheath 4. In other words, it is preferable that the sheath 4 is hard and the coating 6 is flexible. Specifically, the sheath 4 is made of a hard resin such as polyvinyl chloride while the coating 6 is made of a resin more flexible than the sheath 4. |
