PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article supply device for manually supplying a small article, which disables operation when a stockout occurs.SOLUTION: The article supply device includes: a follow-up body (21) that is placed on an article (bn) stacked at the top of a stocker, and descends along with the downward motion of the top article when an article is dispensed; a lock start-up means (22) moving by a predetermined start-up distance (L2) from a start-up start position (P1) to a start-up end position (P2) when the follow-up body (21) moves by a predetermined descent distance (L1) from a start point position (p1) in the middle of moving to an end position (p2); and a lock execution means (23) locking an operation mechanism (7) so as to be inoperable when the lock start-up means (22) moves by the predetermined start-up distance (L2). Thereby, by the downward movement of the follow-up body (21) located on the most downstream side of a power transmission path, the operation mechanism (7) located on the most upstream side can be directly locked. |
