PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicon release film for polarizing plate members, more specifically, a silicon release film which has such excellent time peeling stability as to eliminate the possibility of phenomena of tearing from an adhesive layer used in production of polarizing plates and such excellent appearance characteristics as to minimize occurrence of troubles including excessive detection and undetection of defects on inspecting polarizing plates for shipping.SOLUTION: The silicon release film for polarizing plate members includes a polyester film and a coated layer formed on at least one side of the polyester film and coated once or more with a silicone release composition and meets all of the conditions: (1) 0.8≤X≤2.0; (2) 1.0≤Y≤2.0; and (3) 1.0≤Z≤1.5 (wherein, X is a ratio of the 14-day aging release force to the one-day aging release force; Y is a mol ratio of Si-H groups of the hydrogen polysiloxane to Si-alkenyl groups of the alkenyl polysiloxane, with the polysiloxanes used in the coated layer; and Z is a ratio of the surface tension of the substrate film to the surface tension of the coating liquid used in the coated layer). |
