PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric energy managing system and a method of reporting a change in state of home electric appliance, which notifies a user that the state between home electric appliance and a branch breaker connected to the home electric appliance has possibly been changed, to notify the user of association between them, and as a result, effectively promoting energy saving.SOLUTION: The electric energy managing system includes: a home electric appliance 2; a power distribution board device 1 which measures actual power consumption of the home electric appliance 2 for each branch breaker; a detection device 3 which detects a change in the actual power consumption for each branch breaker; a gateway device 4 connected to the home electric appliance 2, the power distribution board device 1 and the detection device 3; and a management center 5 which is connected to a communication network 6 and stores information supplied via the gateway device 4. The detection device 3 compares estimated power consumption with the actual power consumption for each branch breaker, and reports the change of the home electric appliance 2 connected to the branch breaker if the actual power consumption exceeds the range of the estimated power consumption. |
