PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector, which is capable of surely pressing an FPC 40 or FFC to a contacting portion 22 of a contact 14 with a slider 16 without spoiling strength, specifications or the like, of each part, has good operability, and capable of reducing a pitch and a height dimension.SOLUTION: In the connector, an elastic portion 34 and a fulcrum portion 32 are arranged between a contacting portion 22 and a joint 24 of the contact 14, and the contacting portion 22, the elastic portion 34, the fulcrum portion 32, and the joint 24 are arranged in a substantially crank-shape; and a press-receiving portion 20 arranged by extending from the elastic portion 34 is arranged at a position facing the joint 24; a pushing portion 36 connecting in a longitudinal direction is arranged on the slider 16; and the pushing portion 36 attaches the slider 16 to a housing 12 in a freely turning manner between the joint 24 and the press-receiving portion 20 of the contact 14. Thereby, the connector can be reduced in its height dimension. |
