PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a client server system that needs no replacement by maintenance personnel in updating a module.SOLUTION: The module update program connects via a network to a server providing an application system, and registers and updates a module defining an application process on a client terminal. The program includes: a list of modules stored in a region of the client terminal that can be updated only by authority and having identifiers and locations of modules applied to the client terminal; an automatic updating process unit that obtains a version setting file of the module to be applied at the start of using the application system, compares the version set in the version setting file with the version of the module applied to the client terminal, and obtains the module to be applied if an update is determined to be necessary; and a proxy updating unit that operates with authority of the client terminal to register the module obtained. |
