PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exterior wall building material and an exterior wall coating liquid, capable of obtaining a photocatalytic decomposition activity of high level, even when film-coated with a film thickness exceeding 2 μm to restrain an enamel coating face or a clear coating face from being deteriorated.SOLUTION: This exterior wall building material includes a photocatalyst layer on a base material surface, the photocatalyst layer is obtained by applying a photocatalyst coating liquid, followed to be dried thereafter, the photocatalyst coating liquid contains a photocatalytic metal oxide particle, a curable silicone emulsion, a surfactant, and water, the photocatalytic metal oxide particle is partially coated or modified by a substance having a hydrophobic group, and the surfactant is a nonionic surfactant. |
