PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a herbicide applicator for applying a herbicide exclusively to the leaves and stalks of target weeds, preventing the exposure of nearby valuable crops, keeping safety and increasing speed of the work, and suppressing seed bank.SOLUTION: The herbicide applicator includes an applicator 1 like a crocodile mouth and composed of an upper jaw 6a and a lower jaw 6b openably connected at the fulcrum, a portable chemical solution bottle and a solution suction hose 2a supplying a chemical solution from the chemical solution bottle to the applicator 1, fixing bodies 4a and 4b each for nipping and fixing the leaves and stalks of the weeds and set at the tip ends of the upper jaw 6a and the lower jaw 6b, and a piston 9a interlocked with the open and shut operation of the upper jaw 6a and the lower jaw 6b. The herbicide applicator has a constitution of sucking the chemical solution in the chemical solution bottle to the cylinder 8a through the solution suction hose 2a, supplying a predetermined amount of the chemical solution received in the cylinder 8a to an air mixing body 5a formed at the cylinder 8a tip end of the upper jaw 6a by one open-shut motion of the upper jaw 6a and the lower jaw 6b, mixing the chemical solution with air to be foam-like, and applying the obtained to the nipped leaves and stalks. |
