PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing an antibody against a hydrophobic peptide.SOLUTION: The method for producing an antibody against a hydrophobic peptide includes using a conjugate in which a hydrophilic polymer is added to an N-terminal side of the hydrophobic peptide, at least one Cys residue is added to a C-terminal side of the hydrophobic peptide and a carrier protein is linked to the Cys residue, as an antigen, and collecting an antibody from a mammal immunized against the antigen.
