PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device, enabling moving in the normal case or in case of a disaster, and moving according to space using one connecting device, having excellent operability, radius of rotation and communication performance between a care giver and a care receiver, loadable in a business elevator with wheelchairs in the connecting state, and connecting the wheelchairs longitudinally and laterally using one connecting device so that one care giver can operate a plurality of wheelchairs.SOLUTION: This connection device connects the wheelchairs arranged longitudinally or laterally using one connecting rod in a longitudinal line or a lateral line. The device includes: a connector having fitting holes in four, front and back, and right and left portions of the wheelchair; and two connecting plates disposed in front and in the rear and provided with projections at both ends inserted in the fitting holes of the connector to be fixed. One end of the connecting rod is fixed to one of the connecting plates, and the other end is pivotally connected to the other connecting plate to freely turn up and down and right and left. |
