Disclosed is an antibody which recognizes PSK. Specifically disclosed is an antibody characterized by being capable of recognizing PSK and inhibiting the antitumor effect of PSK, in particular, an antibody by which the aforesaid inhibition of the antitumor effect is achieved by inhibiting the cytotoxic activity of PSK or inhibiting the TGF-ß1 inhibitory activity thereof. According to the present invention, PSK having physiological effects can be highly accurately and quantitatively detected, which is useful for, e.g., the detection and measurement of PSK having physiological effects that is contained in a drug, a food or a drink and understanding the in vivo kinetics after administration of PSK having physiological effects. |
