PURPOSE: A speed responsive power steering system is provided to prevent damage to a pump by controlling the amount of supplied fluid so that a part of the fluid can be returned. CONSTITUTION: A speed responsive power steering system(100) comprises a power cylinder(120), a valve unit(130), a pump(150), and a controller(170). The power cylinder flows in/out fluid in order to control steering force. The valve unit is installed in the power cylinder and controls the amount of the fluid supplied to the power cylinder. The pump supplies the fluid to the valve unit and circulates and stores the fluid by receiving the fluid. The controller controls the valve unit using electromagnetic force.
