PURPOSE: A hot roll printer is provided to continuously print without discontinuation of a plant, to improve the working efficiency and to prevent the damage of the parts, thereby improving the productivity. CONSTITUTION: A hot roll printer includes a main body(100) of the printer in which a base cover(120) is coupled with a base plate(110), solid ink parts(140) rotatably coupled with the main body and mounting a solid ink roll(142), a type holder part(150) adjacently installed in the lower part of the solid ink part and having a ring-shaped type holder(154) coupled with the outer end part of a shaft, so that the type installed in the outer peripheral surface of the type holder contacts with the solid ink roll with rotating, heater rods(300,310) and preheating devices having temperature sensors(320,330) installed in preheating plates(270,280) to preheat the solid ink parts and the type holder part, wherein the hot roll printer includes an installation part(130) having an arc shaped curved plane(132) and an installation plane(134) formed at a right angle to the curved plane in the bottom part of the base cover, and a rotary solid ink device(200) installed in the upper part of the installation part to be movably by a rotating element(210) and selectively having the plurality of solid ink parts adjacent to the type holder part and the preheating devices heating the solid ink parts.
