Graphical processing for constructing a visualisation of a simulation is distributed among a plurality of processors (2), each processor being provided with a respective value or range of some parameter affecting the visualisation, such as time or transparency. A user apparatus (1) allows the parameter value to be changed, and combines and displays the results received from the processors. A change in the parameter is immediately reflected in the display.
