PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a louver window capable of having a simple driving mechanism and high durability at a low cost and being naturally ventilated. SOLUTION: The louver window includes a set of bearings as a pair of right and left bearings provided to right and left jambs constituting a window frame, a louver plate horizontally constructed by oscillation shafts pivoted on a set of bearings and a lap member combined with at least one oscillation shaft of a set of oscillation shafts, the louver plate makes oscillation motion between a closing state to make the inclination of the louver plate approximately parallel to the window frame with the oscillation shaft as the center and an opening state to make the inclination of the louver plate approximately cross the window frame, and the lap member is so constituted that the louver plate is in a well-balanced position against the window frame in an approximately opening state in the case of a state of windlessness.
