PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable audio device which is used while fitted at all times to a hanging means and allows smooth replacement of the hanging means. SOLUTION: This portable audio device comprises a hanging means such as a neck strap, and a fitting means which is detachably fitted to the hanging means. The fitting means is attached to the hanging means using a plurality of clips. The clip has such structure as a cord runs through a cylinder of a clip part, so that an earphone, a headphone, a microphone and the like are housed beside a strap of the hanging means such as a neck strap with a curled cord. A wire penetrating the curled cord prevents the curled cord from hanging while a magnet fitted to the cord and an iron member at the clip allow to adjust the length of the curled cord.
